Buckeye Hunting Lodge is located in Colleton and Hampton counties in the low country of South Carolina, specializing in deer, hog, and turkey hunts. It is a privately owned 2,000 acre plantation located on the Big Salkehatchie River, which also has access to an additional 4,000+ acres for hunting.  Also it has a 2,500 ft. grass airstrip available for hunters that are skilled pilots. If pilots are not comfortable landing here we will gladly pick them up at one of the nearby airports; 88J and KRBW. LODGES

 

Buckeye has two lodges located on the plantation. The main lodge is 6,000 sq ft, and accommodates up to 12 people. The additional lodge is a 1,000 sq ft. newly remodeled 100 year old home that accommodates up to 6. We provide a daily home cooked brunch and a southern cooked supper. While staying here you will experience “Southern Hospitality at it's Finest”. Buckeye Hunting Lodge welcomes people of all ages and offers activities around the lodges for all. Some of the activities are; a shooting and skeet range, a fishing pond and/or experiencing black water fishing on the Big Salkehatchie River, cornhole, and horseshoes. We also have a fire pit for hunters to socialize and gather around at night.
