Turkey Hunts: March 15th-May 1st

At Buckeye Hunting Lodge you can experience some of the best turkey hunting the low country has to offer. Buckeye has the prime habitat for turkeys; with its hardwood bottoms, acorn ridges, planted pines, and a superb water source from the Big Salkehatchie River. This habitat provides turkeys with the perfect spot for successful hatching and the timber on the plantation provides safe roosting and an excellent food source to graze. The staff will guide and call for hunters if needed, but we also offer non guided hunts for the experienced turkey hunter.
